Exclusive agreement with Ostrava University

The Medical Doorway team made their second visit to the University of Ostrava on October 25th. The purpose of the trip was to finalise our partnership with the Faculty of Medicine. As a result, students now have opportunity to study medicine at this world ranked university from September 2018.

The tuition fees at Ostrava University are only €8500 per year

Ostrava is the third largest city in Czech Republic and an important industrial centre. The youngest in the country, the Faculty of Medicine at Ostrava University is close to the city centre. Thanks to direct low-cost flights from London, Ostrava is also a very convenient option.

Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) concluded the exclusive agreement between Medical Doorway and Ostrava University. The agreement ensures students will receive the exceptional application and enrolment support of Medical Doorway. Medical Doorway is also the only organisation in the UK able to support students to study at this highly regarded faculty.

The modern facilities at the University of Ostrava are available to students for only €8500 per year.

Ostrava University has a number of unique features which makes it an attractive destination for medical studies. Like other Czech universities, Ostrava University is a THES World Ranked university. The tuition fees for the medicine programme are also only €8500 per year. Students on a limited budget have often had to choose unranked universities in Bulgaria or Romania. Medical applicants now have a high quality option in Central Europe while avoiding the pitfalls of fee-charging agents.

Ostrava University also provides high quality student accommodation. The “Kampus Palace” provides single, en-suite rooms with a wealth of onsite facilities. All this is available for less than £160 a month, making Ostrava an affordable study destination for many medical students.

Ostrava University is similar to most European universities with an entrance examination determining admission. The first examination is in London on Sunday 29th April. There is also a second exam scheduled for Saturday 14th July. Students passing the exam receive an unconditional offer and can commence their medicine studies in our newest and exclusive partner from September 2018.
