HKTDC Education & Careers Expo 2019

From 24th – 27th January the Medical Doorway team were busy at the 2019 HKTDC Education and Careers Expo. The annual event is part of the Government of Hong Kong’s activity to foster opportunities for young people. Selection for participation is rigorous as the government only wants the most recognised universities and career pathways to be offered to students.

The Medical Doorway team spoke with hundreds of students and parents over the four-day expo.

During the four-day event the team spoke to hundreds of parents and students about the opportunities to study in the UK and Europe. Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) delivered a “Study Medicine in the UK & Europe” presentation to an avid audience. Like most of East Asia, Hong Kong is experiencing increasing demand for medical and health services due to an ageing population. Medical Doorway is committed to bringing high quality medical career pathways to students across the world. For the second year running we will be running the Czech Republic entrance exams in Hong Kong. These will be happening at King George V School ion Kowloon. These are increasingly popular from students from Asia and Australasia.
