Poznan University of Medical Sciences: 2017 enrolment

Ben Ambrose from Medical Doorway was specially invited for the 2017 enrolment at Poznan University of Medical Sciences. The enrolment ceremony brought together students and stakeholders from across the world. As one of Poland’s most famous universities, PUMS is becoming increasingly popular for UK students.

Poznan is one of a small number of universities that offers a four-year graduate entry medicine programme. This is a very popular option for UK students whom hold a degree in Biomedical Science or other related subjects. The increasing popularity from the UK has resulted in the establishment of the British & Irish Student Interest Group. As well as providing a forum for UK and Irish students, this group helps students make the successful transition from Poznan to the NHS.

The enrolment ceremony took place at the library & congress centre on Thursday 24th August. Following this, Ben Ambrose held meetings with the university management and Dr Inder Pahal from Kaplan. Poznan University of Medical Sciences has fully integrated Kaplan’s USMLE preparation programme into their curriculum. This provides Medical Doorway students the chance to succeed in the USMLE and pursue their career in the USA.

Gaining admission to PUMS requires you to negotiate a comprehensive application process. This includes an entrance exam exclusively arranged by Medical Doorway in London. Applications for 2018 entry can be made from 1st November 2017 and entrance exams with take place in early July 2018.
