With the end of May being upon us we are ready to start formal applications for the February 2020 enrolment at Medical University Pleven in Bulgaria. The University will start to send us offers from Monday 3rd June. There is a separate procedure for UK/EU students and for non-European Union citizens.
Applicants holding citizenship of the UK, or a EU/EEA country, are required to sit a basic entrance exam. For convenience we host these exams in Manchester and London so you don’t need to travel to Bulgaria. These exams are also happening in the days before our Open Day at the Royal Society of Medicine. This means you can sit the entrance exam and then have an in-depth discussion with the MU-Pleven team at this unique event. You will also have the chance to meet Pleven graduates who are working in the NHS. Sitting an entrance exam is not required if you are a non-EU/EU/EEA citizen. This means you should submit your application early in order to secure a student visa in time to enrol.
Medical Doorway is the exclusive UK contracted representative of Medical University Pleven. This means our service is free of any agency fee. MU-Pleven was the first medical school in Bulgaria to teach medicine in English. For the past two years were have visited the university to celebrate the graduation of our students. In 2019 over forty Medical Doorway students completed their studies at Medical University Pleven.
