Since 2020, the global Covid-19 pandemic mandated that our Asian region entrance exams were replaced by online formats. Online exams and interviews are now being replaced by in-person assessments. Medical Doorway wanted to ensure students in the Asian-Pacific region could still sit the exams locally. As such, we are delighted to announce that in 2023 we are returning to Hong Kong to offer Charles University entrance exams for medicine and dentistry.
Charles University had become increasingly popular for students from Hong Kong and East Asia. In 2022 our first Hong Kong graduate qualified from the First Faculty of Medicine. Furthermore, he has commenced his career as a resident physician in the USA (check the interesting Charles University graduation video below).
The exams in the region are timetabled to take place following the IB exams in May and are open to all aspiring doctors and dentists. All the programmes are globally recognised and have a long history of graduate employment, especially in the UK and USA.
