Medical Doorway’s 2026 Exam Fee Scholarship offers eligible UPJŠ applicants a refund of the £159 application and examination fee after enrolment. The fee is paid upfront, so this is a rebate rather than a fee waiver.
How the scholarship works
- Apply to UPJŠ through Medical Doorway.
- Pay the £159 application and examination fee by credit or debit card using the invoice provided.
- Once payment has been received, access the official UPJŠ entrance exam question bank.
- Sit the London entrance exam on 22 August 2026 at Birkbeck, University of London.
- If you pass and meet the university’s enrolment requirements, enrol on 3 September 2026.
- The £159 fee will be refunded to the original payment card 60 days after enrolment.
The scholarship also covers eligible students who applied through Medical Doorway and passed our April, May or July 2026 exams. Refunds are processed automatically after enrolment; there is no separate scholarship application.
Other costs to plan for
Medical Doorway does not charge agency fees and provides support with the application and enrolment process. The scholarship does not cover tuition fees, living expenses, travel or required document processing.
Document costs may include legalisation and translation of police certificates for non-EU students, and in-country legalisation and translation of educational documents for recognition, known as nostrification.
