Medical Doorway delivered a study medicine in Europe presentation at Manchester Grammar School.
Ben Ambrose from Medical Doorway was invited to Manchester Grammar School to deliver a presentation about studying medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine in Europe. This was part of an international university conference open to higher education advisers from the North West and North Wales. There is a growing trend of students in UK schools choosing to study medicine in Europe. It is therefore essential the professionals counselling students in schools have access to the most up to date information.
Advisors travelled to MGS from far and wide and were introduced to the universities in the Medical Doorway network. These events are critical to ensure advisers are fully informed of the procedures for admission to the highest quality universities. Only universities with established graduate employment track records interest the best students.
Medical Doorway continues to receive invitations to schools and colleges around the world. So far in 2019, we have visited schools in Hong Kong, Brunei, Germany, Belgium and the UK. These sessions help students compare universities, understand entry requirements and ask questions about costs and professional registration.

Following the presentation there was time for questions and answers. All the careers advisers were invited to our annual Open Day held at the Royal Society of Medicine on Sunday November 3rd.
In the coming weeks we will be up and down the UK talking to students, parents and advisers. Following the September 2019 enrolments we will be offering more international outreach in new and exciting destinations.
