Following requests from students, schools and university partners, Medical Doorway is launching entrance exams in Germany. This gives students in Germany and the wider Schengen area another way to apply, with application support provided without agency fees.
These exams will be specifically for UK, EU, EEA nationals or those with a current resident permit in a Schengen member state. Citizens of countries that can enter the EU without a visa (e.g. USA or Canada) can also sit these exams.
So far, three of our university partners that offer both medicine and dentistry in English have confirmed Germany exams. These are:
Palacky University in Olomouc – 12th July via the Online portal
Charles University First Faculty of Medicine – 15th July in Berlin
Pavol Jozef Safarik University – 16th July in Berlin
Charles University Second Faculty of Medicine – 17th July in Berlin
Students can apply using our Germany specific application form and register for all three exams in less than ten minutes. All our applicants will benefit from Medical Doorway’s free of charge service. This includes access to our preparation system, migration guidance and on-the-ground support in-country.
Outreach Visits Planned in Germany
Tuition fees for the listed universities start at €10,500 a year at the time of this article. We are also discussing a potential funding project in Germany that would link support for selected programmes with employment after graduation. Eligibility and contractual terms will need to be confirmed.
Medical Doorway will soon be on an outreach visit to schools across Germany and Switzerland to raise awareness of these opportunities. Offering our service to students in mainland Europe is long overdue and we are honoured to have the support of so many high schools, and universities to offer students the level of service they deserve.
