As the profile of EU medical schools continues to grow, Medical Doorway were invited to two more established schools in England. On Monday 10th June we were on the banks of the river Thames at City of London School. This school has many students progressing to medical school. The current vice-dean of Charles University First Faculty of Medicine is an old boy of this interesting British school. Managing Director, Ben Ambrose, delivered a presentation and then addressed questions from the MedSoc society. The team then held meetings with staff from the school to plan further school outreach engagement with Medical Doorway.
This was the first of two school visits as we found ourselves up in the midlands on Tuesday 11th June. Our visit to the respected Bromsgrove School followed numerous successful student’ placements by Medical Doorway. This day and boarding school bring students from across the world together to study at a beautiful campus in Worcestershire. Students from the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and EU attending our presentation. This was followed by a Q&A session.
We are continuing to offer school outreach to schools across the country and will be connoting to do so in July.
