If you are considering a British medical degree outside the UK, Queen Mary University of London’s Malta campus offers an MBBS programme taught in Malta. Medical Doorway provides application support free of charge.

The tuition fees for this programme are €39,500 per year for the 2026 enrolment. This represents a significant saving for international students who are planning to study in the UK.
Applications are free of charge with Medical Doorway and outside of UCAS. All applicants will ideally need a UCAT taken in 2025. However, if your UCAT was below 1760, or you didn’t get the chance to take it, QMUL will let you take it in 2026 and still enrol in September. The deadline is now however upon us; all applications will need to be submitted by 26th February.
