Medical Doorway’s 2019/20 outreach campaign began with visits to two schools in Turkey. Following our invitation to present at the CIS Global Forum, more schools have invited us to help students explore medical study options and understand entry requirements and costs.
Ben Ambrose was invited to Izmir (Turkey) to counsel students on the opportunities to study in the European Union.
We started the day at Işıkkent Eğitim Kampüsü taking our front row table at their Education Day alongside universities from the USA, Canada and the UK. Students from multiple year groups spoke to Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) about the options in the European Union. Interest in Turkey is at an all-time high as more students realise the global opportunities open to them. Ben Ambrose delivered a presentation to the students at IEK which generated a lot of interest and many questions.
The day continued at the elite American Collegiate Institute. Due to such high demand, two workshops were delivered. Following these presentations we took our place in the exhibition hall speaking to a huge number of students. There was interest in all of our universities but especially the world-ranked Czech Republic faculties. Turkish students are able to sit the entrance exams in the UK or Hong Kong.
Medical Doorway are committed to supporting students in their schools and our outreach activity will be continuing in the UK over the course of October. For the remainder of 2019 we will be visiting school across the UK and presenting the next CIS global forum in Bilbao. In December we will be in Egypt again at the invitation of respected international schools.
