Medical Doorway visited the SGU Campus in Northumbria
Over the past week the Medical Doorway team have been visiting St. George’s University in Grenada. The world-famous university in the Caribbean has a formidable reputation and is the No.1 provider of doctors to US residencies. Director of Medical Admissions (Gill Coleman) jetted off to the main campus in Grenada. Here she was able to meet the international teaching team, students and explore the high-quality medical school for herself. The beachside campus is truly unique, with all educational and leisure facilities on one self-contained site. After your classes you can work out in the ultra-modern gym, take scuba-diving lessons or experience the tropical beaches of the nutmeg island.
Students on the four-year graduate-entry degree can study their first year at Northumbria University, while those on the five-year pathway can study their first two years there. SGU offers clinical placements in the UK and USA. Graduates must meet the registration and employment requirements of the country where they wish to work. Following his visit to Antwerp, Managing Director Ben Ambrose visited SGU’s dedicated facilities at Northumbria in Newcastle.
