The commitment of the Medical Doorway team to provide in-school “Study Medicine in Europe” presentations is extensive. Already in 2024, we have visited schools in the UK and Europe and the requests keep on coming. On Friday 23rd February we met the “MedSoc” at Stratford Girls’ Grammar School. Stratford is the birthplace of William Shakespeare. This selective grammar school is consistently ranked in the UK’s top twenty state schools for GCSE and A-level results.
During the outreach visit, we delivered our “Study Medicine in Europe” presentation to a packed room of aspiring medical students and their teachers. Students were introduced to medical schools in Italy, Cyprus, Malta, and Czech Republic amongst others. The floor was then open for questions. All students were invited to our Open Day at the Royal Society of Medicine on 30th November 2024.
Our school visits help students and families compare university options, understand fees and check the requirements for their intended careers. Further visits across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia are planned.
