Dentistry has now overtaken medicine as the most oversubscribed professional programme in the UK. This year, a record number of highly capable applicants—many with the potential to become outstanding dentists—have received four UCAS rejections.

As a result, demand for English-taught Dentistry programmes across Europe has surged.

Dentistry is typically a five-year degree, and all Medical Doorway partner programmes follow this structure. While you may see some six-year options in Europe, these often include an additional preparatory year—adding cost and delaying your entry into the workforce. We strongly recommend applying only to five-year programmes.
