Founded in 1367, the University of Pecs is the oldest university in Hungary and one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Central Europe. Its internationally recognised Medical School has upheld a tradition of academic excellence since 1951. The university has offered English-language programmes in Medicine and Dentistry since 1984. Study Medicine or Dentistry in Pécs
The Medicine and Dentistry programmes at the University of Pecs are highly respected and designed to prepare students for successful international careers. Graduates from the UK and other EU countries are eligible to apply for registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or the General Dental Council (GDC) in the UK. In addition, students may choose to prepare for the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination), which opens doors to medical careers in the USA and Canada.
