Named after the first president of Czechoslovakia, T.G. Masaryk, and founded in 1919, Masaryk University is the second largest university in the Czech Republic and located in the second biggest city, Brno. The new faculty of Medicine is found on a purpose built campus a short distance from the city centre. The faculty is linked by a bridge to a huge shopping mall and has ample on site accommodation for students providing all you need for daily life on one impressive university campus. The city centre is only a short tram and bus ride away and with a three month student travel permit costing less than €30 you will soon see why this is a very popular choice for students.
