Medical Doorway is the authorised representative of the University of Chester. Founded in 1839, Chester further developed its academic offer in the 2000s. It is now a major centre of learning in the North West of England. The university has six separate campuses including one in the town of Shrewsbury. Away from the medical school the university has an impressive range of actives for students with over nine-hundred sports and student societies.
The medical school at the University of Chester offers international students the opportunity to study a four-year Graduate Entry Medicine programme. Unlike many graduate entry programmes, the Chester degree doesn’t require a GAMSAT but rather accepts UCAT which can be taken in the year of admission.
Medical Doorway will support you from your initial enquiry right the way through to enrolment. The living costs are lower than most other British cities and the cities of Liverpool and Manchester are close. Chester is also home to the UK’s largest Zoo. In addition, it boasts an impressive range of shopping and entertainment facilities.
Do you want to study Graduate Entry Medicine in the UK in one of England’s most beautiful cities? If so, study in the North West at Chester with Medical Doorway. Graduating from a UK programme means you can apply to register with the GMC. This is a fantastic opportunity for international students who have studied their first degree in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealands.
Medical Doorway can co-ordinate your application to the University of Chester 100% free of charge. Complete the Medical Doorway online application form and make a start immediately. Alternatively complete the enquiry form on the right of this page and we will answer any questions you have.
