IB Results Day – UK MBBS in 2026

With IB results now released, some students might be still looking to secure a seat on a UK MBBS in September. The good news is there are still two world-class options available in 2026. Students can be shortlisted for interview if they have achieved 32 points or above.

Students can still apply direct via Medical Doorway to the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and Queen Mary University of London Malta campus.

Featured Universities
Through Medical Doorway, students can still apply directly for the September 2026 enrolment at:

• University of Hertfordshire – A modern university with a strong emphasis on practical learning and NHS partnerships. 32 points or above (UCAT Optional)

• Queen Mary University of London, Malta – Another option for a UK MBBS but studying in the Schengen area in stunning Malta. 34 points or above, 2025 or 2026 UCAT accepted.

This non-UCAS route means students can still apply even at this stage of the application/selection cycle. Both programmes lead to GMC-recognised qualifications, with students fully prepared for the upcoming Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA).
