Medical Doorway closed the July entrance exam season with the exam for Charles University First Faculty of Medicine. Charles University First Faculty is regarded as the most difficult exams of all the central European universities. The history and reputation of Charles University First Faculty generates a large number of applications.
Jana Bilkova (Institute for History of Medicine and Foreign Languages) and Jitka Wurmova (LF1 student office) traveled from Prague to conduct the exam. Over fifty students sat the exam which was held at Birkbeck University of London. Students sat multiple choice papers in Chemistry, Biology and a choice of Mathematics or Physics. Following the exam students were interviewed to explore their motivations to study in the Czech Republic. All students received their results on the day. Those successful are now looking forward to enrolling at one of the world’s most prestigious medical schools.
Those accepted will join existing Medical Doorway students in Prague and start their studies in September 2017.
The Medical Doorway team will once again be onsite in Prague to assist with enrolment on Friday 22nd September.
