Masaryk University – Foundation Programme
A large number of aspiring doctors and dentists find their dreams shattered by lower than expected exam results when they receive their A-levels, IB or Leaving Certificate. Being a medical professional involves so much more than academic excellence, but to secure one of the limited number of places on a medical or dental degree requires a solid knowledge base in the pure sciences.
If you are determined to study medicine or dentistry in one of Europe’s leading universities, Masaryk University in Brno has introduced a foundation programme just for you. There are very few of these programmes available in Europe which will make the programme in Brno extremely popular. The programme is specifically designed to prepare students for the university entrance examination and the first year of the medicine or dentistry degree.
The 20 week programme runs from October to March, culminating in the university entrance exam. The tuition focuses on Chemistry, Biology and Physics with 380 hours of face to face contact. This ensures you are well prepared for your future studies. The six hours of Czech Language lessons per week will really give you the upper hand when you come to the first year proper of your medical studies. You will also have become accustomed to the high standards expected in one of the world’s most prestigious medical faculties.
The programme is an excellent preparation for the entrance exam and the first year of Medicine or Dentistry studies.
Priced at 180,000 CZK (roughly £5000/€6600) this is a great investment in your future considering Masaryk University graduates enjoy high levels of employment in the NHS.
