Medical Doorway at Bolton School
On Thursday 19th October Medical Doorway were once again supporting students in the north of England. Ben Ambrose was invited to present to the Medicine Society at Bolton School. Bolton School is one of the North West’s highest achieving schools. A large proportion of Bolton school students progress to careers in Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine.
The presentation introduced the students to the most prestigious universities in Central and Eastern Europe. The introduction of the UKMLA was discussed and why applicants should focus on universities with a proven track record of graduate employment in the UK.

The Medical Doorway process of helping students select the right university and the selection processes were discussed in depth. The problems presented by fee charging agencies were highlighted with students made aware how selecting the right university is instrumental to their career success.
Students were also invited to MD-Expo Manchester. This exhibition will give students and their families the chance to meet universities face to face.
