On Tuesday 22nd August, Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) was invited for a meeting at the Czech Republic embassy in London. In this record-breaking year, we have assisted over one hundred students secure offers across our Czech partner universities. This meeting was called to discuss how to further promote Czech Republic medical, dental and veterinary education.
With the ramifications BREXIT and the UKMLA becoming clearer, students are opting to focus on the higher ranked and better resourced universities. This strategy will future proof their qualification, giving them an advantage when competing for jobs in the NHS. Without question, graduates from the Czech Republic are some of the most sought after European graduates.
Ben held meetings with Third Secretary Ondřej Hovádek and Head of the Visa Section Michal Zajpt. Mr Hovádek’s activities include Higher Education strategy and raising the profile of Czech universities. These meetings kicked off what will be an ongoing collaboration between Medical Doorway and the Czech Embassy. Keep an eye out for further updates in the coming months!
