Pleven Medical University: Pre-Departure Briefing 2017

Medical Doorway were back at the Bulgarian Embassy to host the 2017 pre-departure briefing for Medical University Pleven. This exclusive event ensured the packed audience of students and parents were fully prepared for enrolling and studying on Bulgaria’s most established English language programme.

Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) welcomed the guests and gave thanks to His Excellency Konstantin Dimitrov (Bulgarian Ambassador to the UK) for welcoming us to the embassy. MU-Pleven were represented by Professor Angelina Stoyanova, Mrs Petya Radeva and the university’s newest admissions expert Miss Nadezhda Angelova.

Professor Stoyanova delivered the official welcome to MU-Pleven. Her presentation highlighted the history and recent developments at Pleven Medical University. The university is one of Europe’s most popular for those looking to Study Medicine in Europe.

Using his own experience from higher education Ben Ambrose spoke about the experience of becoming an international student. This included special advice on the initial academic shock of commencing medical studies.

Students were very keen to hear about the enrolment process. Mrs Petya Radeva explained everything regarding arrival, registration and the official enrolment procedures. Nadezhda Angelova’s presentation informed students of the scheduled academic and social activities.

All students and parents are now preparing to travel to Bulgaria. The Medical Doorway team will meet parents at the airport and be with them on the way to Pleven.
