School outreach activity in October 2017

Ben Ambrose from Medical Doorway started our 2017/18 academic year outreach activity with visits to Oxford, London and York.

For the second year running we were invited to St Clare’s Oxford were we counselled Year 12 & 13 students. Some of these students will sit our April 2018 examinations. We were then invited into Haberdashers’ Aske’s school for Girls for the first time. During the evening we presented an updated Study Medicine in Europe presentation to a diverse range of students.

On Thursday 5th October we were specially invited into the huge Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate near York. This exclusive boarding school is popular with students from all across the globe. For many of these students our university partners were already well know to them. There was huge interest in Charles University in Prague which will make our April exam extremely popular.

During these presentations and visits, Ben introduced a range of universities as well as the new application procedures for the 2018/19 entry. As a result of being the only organisation officially representing a broad range of the higher ranked universities in Europe, Medical Doorway is invited into many schools and colleges.
