Charles University Entrance Exams in Hong Kong

Following on from our successful outreach work in Hong Kong in February, we were back in the city to re-launch our in-person entrance exams. Following years of strict covid-19 restrictions, 2023 was the first in which exams in Hong Kong were possible post 2019. In addition to students from Hong Kong, applicants travelled from Japan, Indonesia, and Dubai.

The exams started with Charles University Second Faculty of Medicine on Friday 26th May. The multiple-choice exam was followed by a panel-based interview with offers made immediately. On Saturday 27th our colleagues from Charles University First Faculty conducted their exam for admission to both medicine and dentistry. This exam was then followed by an online MMI. Whilst in the city we continued to offer our outreach work. This includes a visit to Malvern College and a presentation evening hosted at Chinese International School.

Medical Doorway is continuing to expand globally. In 2024 we will offering an expanded series of entrance exams in the UK, Dubai, Hong Kong and Brazil. We will also be launching our inaugural “Get Into Medicine UAE” event at GEMS World Academy in Dubai in advance of opening our UAE office.

Our final entrance exams of 2024 are taking place in London at the end of June 2024. This will be followed by our clearing examinations for Charles University in Hradec Kralove and Safarik University in Kosice.
