CIS Conference Presentation

Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) was invited to the 2018 Conference of International Schools Global Forum in Vienna. Usually only open to international schools and universities, the expertise of Medical Doorway was requested by the community. Over nine-hundred higher education study counsellors attended the two day conference.

Although already linked with a large number of schools, we were able to build connections with another two-hundred schools across the globe. Now that Medical Doorway is running entrance exams in the UK, Continental Europe and Hong Kong we are able to offer a unique range of opportunities to students.

Following a series of networking sessions we teamed up with Berlin International School and Berlin Metropolitan School for our presentation. A Study Medicine in Europe presentation informed the eager audience and covered a range of options for students. Rita Miller and Dejana Petric presented the options in Germany, Croatia and The Netherlands. Ben Ambrose discussed the opportunities in Cyprus and The Czech Republic.

The presentation discussed the nature of curricula and selection criteria across the various universities. The packed audience had the opportunity to learn about the range of programmes and also the upcoming entrance examination dates. A question and answer session followed the presentation.

The conference is moving to Bilbao in 2020 and the Medical Doorway team is already looking forward to our next CIS global forum.
