Medical Doorway 2019 outreach in Hong Kong

On Wednesday 23rd January the Medical Doorway team were invited to Renaissance College in Hong Kong. Following our school presentations in 2018 the level of interest in Hong Kong has grown considerably. This presentation followed a successful career advisor tour of the Czech faculties in November 2018.

During the presentation Ben Ambrose identified the growing demand for doctors in Hong Kong and other developed economies. The five faculties running their entrance exams in Hong Kong were introduced to the eager audience. Finally, the presentation explored the accreditation and licensing procedures in Hong Kong and other nations in Europe, North America and Australasia.

The Czech Republic is a popular destination for students from across the Asia-Pacific region. Until 2018 students had to sit their entrance exams in the UK or Europe. With our Hong Kong exams students can sit multiple exams in a short six-day window. This maximises their chances of securing multiple offers.
