Humanitas University boasts an impressive Clinical Simulation Centre
We are delighted to announce that Humanitas University in Milan is now part of the Medical Doorway network. This ultra-modern medical school in Italy has some of the best educational facilities anywhere in Europe. This, and the competitive tuition fees for both EU and non-EU students, makes this an amazing addition to our offer.
The self-contained campus includes everything a student can wish for. On-campus accommodation, cafes, and sports facilities all provide a unique student experience. The university also boasts it’s own hospital meaning your time spent in the clinical environment is only a stone’s throw from the main campus.
Admission to Humanitas University is determined by the online HUMAT exam. There are two sittings for this with the first being on 2nd February and then again on 8th March. Students can sit both with the highest score determining your chances of admission. Online exams for the MEDTEC programme take place in April.
Humanitas has a total of 190 seats per year on the Medicine programme with 50 reserved for non-EU students. Tuition fees for EU students are from €10,000 a year and for non-EU are €20,000 a year. There are also a small number of merit-based scholarships available for non-EU students.
Interested students should apply early to register for the upcoming online exams. All our applicants will enjoy our free of charge support including facilitation of their student visa where this is required.

Dear Foreign Student Office,
I hope you are doing well. My name is Denny Michel Kurera, and I am currently a first-year undergraduate medical student at the European University of Tbilisi Georgia. I was born in Italy, hold dual citizenship (Italian and UK), and have completed my A-Levels in the UK.
I am interested in transferring to the English-medium Medicine and Surgery program at Sapienza University for the second year, starting in the 2025/2026 academic year. I am very impressed by Sapienza University’s reputation for excellence in medical education, particularly its English-medium program, and I strongly believe that transferring here would provide me with the best environment to achieve my academic and professional goals.
To help me take the necessary steps, I would appreciate your guidance on the following:
The possibility of transferring into the second year of the English-medium program.
Whether I am required to sit for the IMAT exam as part of the transfer process.
The documents needed for the application (e.g., transcripts, syllabi of completed courses, proof of Italian citizenship, etc.).
How the academic calendar at Sapienza align with my current university to ensure a smooth transition? (I’ll be finishing my first year at Dundee University in September 2025)
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response and learning about the steps I need to take to apply for the transfer.
With Kindest regards,
Denny Kurera
Dear Denny
Unfortunately as you opted to study in Georgia you will not be accepted as a transfer student at any of our EU partner universities.
Best of luck with your future studies.
