Supporting UAE Students for a Third Consecutive Year: Charles University

For the third year running, the Medical Doorway team proudly supported students in the UAE in their applications to Charles University. Over a three-day period, we conducted entrance exams for all three Prague faculties, offering Middle Eastern students an exceptional opportunity to apply to multiple faculties of the world-ranked Charles University.

In addition, students from the region were able to sit our online entrance exams for Masaryk University and Palacký University. This makes Medical Doorway the only official representative offering such a diverse range of opportunities in the Czech Republic to UAE-based students.

Prior to the exams, all applicants were granted access to our Czech Test Prep system, complemented by our bespoke MMI preparation sessions. The exams were held at GEMS Wellington Academy – Silicon Oasis, made possible through our valued GEMS for Life partnership. This strategic collaboration ensures students receive expert guidance and high-quality support at every stage of their application journey.

Over forty students were registered for the various examinations, with delegations from the faculties travelling to Dubai to conduct the exams and interviews. With offers now being issued across all faculties, our focus shifts to assisting offer-holders with their visa applications.

However, this is far from the end of Medical Doorway’s work in 2025. With entrance exams scheduled in London, Hong Kong, Toronto, Berlin, and via additional online formats, we continue to provide free support and access to opportunities for students around the world.

Our presence in the UAE continues to grow, and preparations are already underway for 2026. Our next Get Into Medicine UAE event will take place on 8th November 2025, bringing together universities from across the UK, EU, and Caribbean. This event offers students and parents the chance to meet university representatives face-to-face in Dubai. We strongly advise those interested to book their free tickets early, as we expect the event to reach full capacity once again.
