Visit to UVMP Kosice – Veterinary Medicine

On 5th September 2024 the Medical Doorway team has the pleasure of visiting the University of Veterinary Medicine & Pharmacy (UVMP) in Kosice. Our first enrolment is taking place at the university this year. With this in mind, we wanted to see the amazing facilities in person. During the visit we were lucking enough to view the various departments at this world-class veterinary school. We started our tour at the clinical simulation centre followed by the small animal hospital. The facilities on offer are truly impressive and we were lucky enough to be in-theatre to view surgery. UVMP is a unique offer, students get the opportunity to work with wild and exotic animals including those at the local Zoological gardens.
