Given the limited opportunities for practical experience, the residential Medical Summer School at Masaryk Universityin the Czech Republic provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your profile. Participating in this program could give you a significant edge over other applicants.

Two summer sessions are available: the first runs from July 7th to 12th, and the second from August 18th to 23rd. With only 16 spots available per session, this is an exclusive opportunity. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t miss your chance to secure a spot.

Summer School Schedule

Monday – Medical school orientation and anatomy teaching
Tuesday – Physiology laboratory experience and experiments
Wednesday – Emergency medicine practicals in the “SIMU” centre
Thursday – Suturing workshop followed by plaster cast practicals
Friday – Mendelianum museum visit in DNA sampling and extraction practicals
Saturday – Day trip to see historic Prague

What does it cost?

This amazing experience costs only 25,000CZK est. $1100/€1000/£850/AED4000 and includes:

• Accommodation in the university’s dormitories from Sunday to Sunday
• Entry tickets to Mendelianium
• Your own medical coat
• Entry to the University Campus and Simulation centre
• Practical lectures taught by professionals
