On Wednesday 27th March, Medical Doorway were in Neuss, near Düsseldorf (Germany) at the International School on the Rhine. As the official representative of Europe’s highest ranked programmes we are being invited to more schools than ever before.
Ben Ambrose (Managing Director) delivered a presentation to the students at ISR. The presentation discussed the procedures to apply and get selected for medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine. There was huge interest in the programmes at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus and the QMUL MBBS Malta. Students were also keen to learn more about the possibilities to study in Czech Republic. Ben answered questions about the differences between the faculties of Charles University and also the amazing opportunities offered at Masaryk University in Brno. Following the presentation, we took park in an open exhibition meeting more students and parents.
The visit to International School on the Rhine was another example of our commitment to offering free outreach to schools and colleges. We have already visited schools in Hong Kong, Brunei and across the UK. In the coming weeks we will be in Dublin and Brussels ensuring more students get access to the best advice and guidance. Our outreach activity has had a huge effect with a record number of applications to all of the programmes in the Medical Doorway network.
The problems caused by fee-charging agencies (promoting low or unranked programmes of questionable academic quality) is driving schools to contact Medical Doorway to ensure their students are properly advised.
