Medical Doorway Launches Italy Med Prep for HUMAT

In 2023 we announced our collaboration with Humanitas University in Milan, for students who want to Study Medicine in Italy. Following a successful run of HUMAT examinations in February and March, we are delighted that our first enrolments will be taking place in September 2024. Our mission is to ensure that Medical Doorway students have the competitive advantage over all other applicants. With this in mind, we are launching a brand new preparation resource, Italy Med Prep. Accessible at italymedprep.com, this interactive system contains hundreds of questions from past HUMAT papers. The HUMAT is one of the most competitive entrance exams for students wanting to study medicine in Europe. Following the HUMAT exam, the merit based system ranks applicants according to their best exam score. Students can sit this exam twice per year to maximise their chances of securing a coveted seat at Humanitas University.

With only fifty seats open for non-EU students, and one hundred and forty for EU citizens, maximising your score is essential. Our Italy Med Prep system will be free of charge and exclusive for Medical Doorway applicants. Considering there is no charge to apply with Medical Doorway, students can maximise their chances of admission at no additional cost. This is a unique offering, allowing more students to Study Medicine in Italy.

The Italy Med Prep package mirrors the HUMAT exactly with modules in “Scientific Thinking” and “Academic Literacy”. By repeating these questions, students will have the chance to familiarise themselves with the content and questions utilised by Humanitas University. We will be opening for 2025 applications on 1st September 2024, a full month earlier than the university system opens. All Medical Doorway applicants will then get access to Italy Med Prep.
