New Four-Year Medicine Programme for Graduates

The team here at Medical Doorway work closely with our university partners to offer more opportunities for you. As such, we are delighted to announce that our colleagues at Gomel State Medical University (GSMU) have developed a four-year programme. This programme is specifically designed for graduates with degrees in Biology, Biomedical and related degrees. This includes graduates from other medical related disciplines. As can be seen on the university website, Medical Doorway is the sole UK representative of this prestigious Belarusian medical school.

GSMU is a state university with graduates working in health care services across the world. Studying at this state university ensures your tuition fees are invested directly back into the university. The university is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and graduates can then apply for ECFMG Certification. This is essential for those that wish to pursue their medical career in the UK or USA.

The graduate-entry programme is structured to ensure you acquire the required scientific knowledge to progress quickly to the clinical components. As such, this includes an intensive first year where you will cover anatomy in addition to other core science and clinical science modules. This continues into the second year before the final two clinically focused years. Year four is the clinical internship year during which you will complete the state exams and secure your licence to practice.

Fee Structure of the four-year graduate entry programme

• Year 1 = $6000 (£4350 est.)
• Year 2-4 = $4,500 – $4,700 est. (£3300 – £3400 est.)
