Following our involvement at the CIS Global Forum in Bilbao we were back on home soil offering outreach in the UK. With more applicants from the UK than ever before we are being invited to visit and present in an eclectic mix of schools.
On this occasion our outreach took us to the beautiful Embley School campus in Hampshire. Embley School is based in former home of Florence Nightingale. This was a fitting place for our Study Medicine in Europe presentation. Four groups of students from schools across the region sat eagerly in our presentations. They were keen to find out more about how to apply and succeed at medical schools across the European Union.
Following the presentations there was an open fair to meet the hundreds of students in attendance. Ben Ambrose spoke individually with students and helped them narrow down the most appropriate university options.
Our ongoing outreach continues up and down the country with a packed itinerary of school visits and higher education events. Our next outreach event will however take us to North Africa on our first visit to the Egyptian capital Cairo.
