Are you an A-level student yet to secure a seat to study Medicine or Dentistry? Don’t worry, Medical Doorway is delighted to offer you opportunities at a host of International Medical Schools in Clearing 2021. There are currently opportunities in Cyprus, UK/Grenada, Bulgaria, Belarus and Latvia. This includes pathways for A-level students and four-year programmes for graduates.

University of Nicosia (Cyprus)

We are still processing applications for medicine at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. If you have gained a ABB profile including Biology and another science you will be shortlisted for interview. For graduates, seats are available on the four-year MBBS awarded by SGUL (GAMSAT required). Admission is determined by video interview. Scholarships are available. Apply HERE!

Gomel State Medical University (Belarus)

This is the ideal medical school for students who want a high-quality state medical school but are on a tight budget. GSMU is home to over eight-hundred international medicine students paying fees of £3300 per year in annual tuition fees. For graduates there is also a four-year pathway available. Admission is based on your academic results and there is no entrance examination. Apply HERE!

St. George’s University (Grenada)/Northumbria University (UK)

If you want to commence your medical studies in the UK, the opportunity with SGU and Northumbria University is ideal. On the five-year MD you can study 50% of the total programme in the UK. Doing the first year in the UK leads to two years at their beautiful Caribbean campus. Your final two years of clinical education can then be divided between NHS hospitals in the UK and clinical centres in the USA. There is also a four-year MD for graduates. Apply HERE!

Pleven Medical University (Bulgaria)

Pleven have been teaching medicine in English since 1997 making it one of the most established medical schools in Eastern Europe for international students. With fees of only €7500 per year this is an affordable EU option. The next enrolment is in February 2022, giving more time to prepare for your future as an international medical student. Riga Stradins University (Latvia)

For those who want to study in one of Europe’s most vibrant capital cities RSU offers this and world class education and facilities. Students need to have A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths with admission based on grades alone. Apply HERE!
